Overview
Unitel Group is one of Mongolia's largest technology and telecommunications groups, the parent of brands that touch nearly every household in the country. For its 20th anniversary, the group went through a full rebranding. A new identity, and for the first time, a real emphasis on the group itself rather than just the consumer brands underneath it.
The new identity needed a digital home. The old web presence didn't reflect who Unitel Group had become over two decades, so a new corporate website was part of the anniversary rollout: one place that presents the group, its companies, and its story under the new brand.
This was a focused, fast-moving project. No lengthy discovery phase, no research sprints. The brief was clear from day one, so we went straight to structure, then straight to high-fidelity design.
Sitemap
The first step was mapping the entire site structure. A corporate group website lives or dies by its information architecture: investors, partners, and job seekers all arrive looking for different things, and each needs a clear path.
We defined the page hierarchy, grouped content by audience, and locked the structure before touching a single screen. This kept the design phase fast: every screen had a defined purpose before it was drawn.

Hi-Fi Design
With the sitemap approved, we skipped wireframes entirely and went straight to high-fidelity design. The visual direction had to feel established, modern, and confident: a group that sits above its individual consumer brands, celebrating 20 years while looking forward.

Iterations
The design went through several rounds of iteration with stakeholders. Each round tightened the layout, refined the content hierarchy, and adjusted the visual tone until it matched how the group wanted to present itself.

An Honest Note
Here's the thing: when I was designing this website, the new logo didn't exist yet. We didn't even know for sure there would be one. I designed against the old identity, making my best guess at where the brand was heading.
After my work was done, the team evolved the design around the new logo. And honestly? It looks better. The new mark is fresh and bold, and the live site carries it with more confidence than my version did. That's how it should work. A design isn't precious, it's a starting point, and the best outcome is the one where the final product wins.
